Chase Park

At Chase Park, Cannock, we have developed over the last 100 years, some of the most prestigious facilities in the Country.

Cannock Cricket Club play in the Birmingham League and are former Champions. Cannock Hockey Club are 7 times English Hockey League Champions. The Morris Ground is also a base for Squash, Tennis and Bowls clubs and Cresswell Wanderers FC.

The artificial pitches are used for both hockey and football with many schools making use of our facilities during weekdays, especially our partners at Chase Academy. In the evenings there are regular football leagues on Wednesday & Sunday nights. Our extensive changing facilities are also available together with our Sports Bar that offers live coverage on our giant-screen TV of current sporting events.

Cannock Hockey Club

Cannock Hockey Club, one of the most successful Clubs in National League history.

Cannock also run seven other men's teams, which continue to have success throughout the Midlands Leagues. The Women's section also compete in the England Hockey League, Conference West Division. The women now have 6 other teams playing weekly in Midland & Staffordshire league hockey.

Cannock's Youth section continues to be successful and the recent achievment England Hockey's 'Clubs First' accreditation will ensure that the Club provides and safe and structured development for our next generation of players.

Cannock Cricket Club

Cannock Cricket Club runs four Saturday sides, two on a Sunday, as well as a ladies team. There are successful junior teams at under 9, 11, 12, 13, 15 & 16 age groups in the Staffordshire Youth League, East Shropshire Youth League and MCCC League.

The Saturday 1st and 2nd X1 play in the Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League, the 3rd and 4th XI play in the Staffordshire Club Cricket Championship.

The Ladies play in the Midlands West Div 2 and the Sunday A and B teams play in the Lichfield and District League.

Junior training is held on a Monday evening throughout the Summer, from 6PM to 8PM, the ladies train on a Thursday evening from 6PM to 8.30PM and Senior nets are on Thursday evenings from 6PM till 9PM.

We have one glass backed and two other squash courts, with a thriving club.

Cannock Squash Rackets Club is a friendly, sociable place to play whether you're a seasoned team, match, league or just casual player.

There are regular competitions organised for all ages from Junior to Veteran and Sunday night is Club Night with free squash for fully paid up members.

England Squash accreditation now means we're working to provide high quality Junior Coaching for local youngsters with an interest in the sport.

Hatherton Bowling Club

With one of the best greens in the Midlands, Chase Park is home to Hatherton Bowling Club.

There are 13 teams in 8 leagues during the Summer, and 2 Winter leagues on the No. 1 hockey pitch during the Winter.

There are 3 trained coaches in the club and new members are invited to join the coaching sessions at 10 AM every Wednesday morning during the season. Contact the secretary, David Orton for more details on 01543 504948.

Extensive gym facilities, steam room and sauna are available at the Club, with competitive monthly membership rates (these facilities require separate membership).

We have cardio, free weights and resistance equipment for a full work out.

Football

Chase Park, Cannock is used extensively by the local community, both through School usage and through our pitches being used for football, Kabaddi etc.

The Centre is fully open to the general public and provides a base for numerous local sporting clubs and for casual pay and play activities.

A number of organisations have contract bookings that run through the year including, Chase Academy, Leisure Leagues, World of Sport and Cresswell Wanderers.
